FARSEEING partners at the University of Manchester devise ‘magic carpet’ to detect falls

Researchers and engineers (including FARSEEING’s Professor Chris Todd) at the University of Manchester have devised a mesh of optical fibres that can sit beneath a carpet that has the potential to detect or even predict falls.
