Christopher Moufawad El Achkar is a PhD student at EPFL, Switzerland under the supervision of Professor Kamiar Aminian in the Laboratory of Movement Analysis and Measurement (LMAM). He holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oxford and the Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from the American University of Beirut. His research is closely related to FARSEEING hence his direct involvement in WP7. He will review, assess and improve complex rehabilitation techniques for the elderly using Virtual Reality technologies. Additionally, he aims to analyse falls in older people in order to develop robust fall detection/prediction systems.
