Professor Babak Farshchian is a senior research scientist within SINTEF’s ICT department, with 15 years of experience in research and development within telecom, e‐health and AAL. He has been actively involved in both research and management in a number of European projects, such as the IPs Daidalos, Akogrimo, SOCIETIES and universAAL. He has a PhD from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and holds an associate professorship at the same university
