Designing and testing a complex/self‐adaptive intervention to reduce fall risks (WP7)

The objective of WP7 is to design and evaluate a self‐adapted intervention program aiming to restore/enhance healthy functioning of older persons by acting at physical/physiological and cognitive level. Two scenarios will be considered:

1.  A sample of community‐dwelling older persons who are independent in daily life activities and who have experienced a functional loss during the last year regarding activities of daily living will take part. Smartphone will be used as stimulation tools to provide such motivation actions.

2.  A sample of older persons at high‐risk of falling will be included, with the inclusion criteria that they are home dwelling, able to walk indoor and outdoor. Stimulation tools will be based mainly on home‐based technology.
